01

Measure elapsed time

Open Stopwatch and choose Start/Play. The display counts upward. Use Pause to stop the running measurement and Resume to continue from the current elapsed time. This measures elapsed time rather than counting down to a configured finish.

02

Reset deliberately

Reset returns the measurement to zero. Check the elapsed value before resetting if you need to record it. The documented stopwatch has no lap recording feature; do not look for a hidden lap history.

03

Start by voice

Ask Assistant to start a stopwatch. Open the page to confirm it is running, then use the normal controls. Supported voice starting does not imply that every pause, resume, or reset command is available by voice.

04

Choose the right time tool

Use Stopwatch to find out how long something takes. Use Timer to count down a duration, or Reminders for a task at a chosen time. These tools serve different purposes even though Assistant can help initiate each.
